I like wide pants and especially this pair! They are for miniature girls so I cut them and added extra length along the thighs and hips. I also added a waistband because like wearing blouses tucked in pants.
I’m very glad of the result, although I’m not too small (166 cm) but don’t mind looking taller and the pants really keep the promise:)
I used gabardine. The fabric is perfect for pants especially if you want them to keep the shape and folds but it’s quite hard for ironing so during sewing try to avoid gathering of fabric along the seams or, at least, minimalize it.
