To get back into sewing I brought the burda book and made the skirt with the bottom of a pair of flared jeans I got from a charity shop which I love.
Then I attempted one of the dresses in the book which sadly looked like a sack on my hourglass frame so skirt number two with a full back zip, ribbon waistband and top stitching was made.
This will be one of my go to patterns from now on it is so easy and really flattering.
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
