LBell, I can see you put a lot of effort in your jacket, and seeing you’re a novice, I’d like to encourage you to keep sewing. This pattern calls for intermediate sewing skills, but you’ve managed to conquer it quite well. I hope you don’t mind having a constructive criticism – to have a nice, polished, and RTW look of your garments, pay attention to pressing seams while sewing the garment. It enlongates the time required to finish the garment, but it makes a whole lot of difference.

Thank You, but i am completely self taught and have only recently had the courage to publish any of my projects. I have since adjusted the shoulders and waistline as they did not fit as well as I expected and I was expecting my second child when fitting it which was not the best idea.

I totally understand you, I am self taught, too. I think you did an excellent job with the jacket, and I hope you’re not offended by my comment – it wasn’t my intention to do so.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s always healthy to have another person point of view and help.
