Somewhere In Sun...
I Made this bag to complement my outfit which was made from the same fabric. I love brocade…beautiful. I will try and get the photo of the top soon. Regards to this bag I used the plastic wooden looking handles being a novice at the time and then sealed the bag openings shut. Today I got some nice black jersey knit and wrapped it tightly around the handles and that did the trick. I added a pocket into the bag. It has black lining inside and it was interfaced inside underneath the lining.
I did use a pattern being a novice in making bags..I think it was a Mccalls I will update when I find out which one. I hope the pics do this bag justice :O)
I enjoyed making the bag I choose this pattern because as a beginner in making bags it looks easy. Since making this bag I have already made another two.
I will add details to my blog.
Thanks for looking.
