Wanted to make something fun to wear for my birthday, so I whipped up this tunic using Simplicity pattern #3504 (Project Runway inspired line). I had so much fun making it, as the Project Runway patterns allow you to mix and match all sorts of design elements to create your garment. Main fabric is a Robert Kaufman medallion design, and I used a contrasting fabric for the inset and hem. I’ve also decided that this is the year that I stop telling people that I’ve turned 29…AGAIN. I’m 35 and proud!!! :)
Cotton woven with some stretch.

Gorgeous tunic – I’m amazed about your skills as a beginner. Further, I think you look younger than 35 (due to the tunic? ;)) Anyhow, I turned 35 too and I think it es a great age!!
