Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I love 50’s dresses. Maybe it’s a little overdone these days but I still love them. For this dress I combined a basic dress pattern with a vintage 50’s pattern and drafted my own circle skirt piece. I found this fabric for an awesome price at Walmart. I added some boning in the side seams for a smoother look. I decided to have some of my senior pictures taken in it!

I’ve been wanting to make a coat with such a collar ever since my mum pointed it out Mary Tyler Moore wearing it on the Dick van Dyke show. This one is real cute. And so are the shoes, lol.
