My first project! I had a lot of help for this one: my boyfriend’s mother made most of the job… She taught me the basics of sewing.
This dress is based on a pattern I found on a French website (http://www.bluemarguerite.com/Crea/loisirs-creatifs/Gratuit/robes-d-ete—%28414%29.deco) but with several variations: the original one was far too “naked” for me!
29/08/2010: I modified the dress a little bit. I was not entirely satisfied of the neck bow: it was not so pretty in the back and quite difficult to make by myself. So, no bow anymore, it is now a simple seam around the neck. See last two pictures for new version.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
