Description

My first project! I had a lot of help for this one: my boyfriend’s mother made most of the job… She taught me the basics of sewing.

This dress is based on a pattern I found on a French website (http://www.bluemarguerite.com/Crea/loisirs-creatifs/Gratuit/robes-d-ete—%28414%29.deco) but with several variations: the original one was far too “naked” for me!

29/08/2010: I modified the dress a little bit. I was not entirely satisfied of the neck bow: it was not so pretty in the back and quite difficult to make by myself. So, no bow anymore, it is now a simple seam around the neck. See last two pictures for new version.

Love your dress and would love to see the original pattern! I’ve tried your link, but it doesn’t seem to work. (And the next problem would be that I don’t read french ;-D)

OK… There is a problem with one of the sign in the link. Justafter "eteé and before the first %, it is supposed to be a double dash “-”. I can’t correct it directly in the link…
