This was by far one of the most complicated things I’ve made. If you’re going to make this, read the instructions thoroughly and make sure you understand them before you do anything. It’ll save some heartbreak, trust me.
I’m really pleased with it though. It’s REALLY warm, so I’m going to have to wait until winter to wear it :(
I had some trouble with the snaps – the first ones I tried fell off, and I had to add some backing material to make the pockets thicker for where the snaps are. I definitely recommend this. The pockets are too thin to hold the snap on without tearing, what ever material you use,
I’m going to wax it eventually, so it’ll be waterproof too. :)
Black gabardine, the lining is a desert camouflage printed cotton. I also used some wadding on the inside.
