I used Burda Style 7336, rated a “3” and “Average” for difficulty. The dresses are a shortened version of View B.
The dresses pictured are themed and inspired from my childhood. The first is a Party Dress I call Polka Dot Princess. The second is a First Communion Dress. The third is a La Quinceanera Dress (that is a rite of passage for 15 year old Latina girls…..I always wanted one of those dresses!!)
Silk Bridal fabric was used for the two white dresses. Trim was done by hand sewing on the beads at the necklines.
Pink and White polka dot fabric is 100% cotton.
Lace trim, beading, hook and eye closures, ribbon and bows.

This is positively lovely. I’m currently in the process of drafting very simple patterns my niece can assemble for her Barbie with little difficulty, and while this would be too difficult for her, I know she would love it. I actually was searching the site for fashion doll patterns, and your project was the only thing the site returned when I entered a pattern number (7336). I guess burdastyle does not make these availalble online – perhaps Jo Anns’s has them . . .

hi, sorry it took a while to get back to you. I’ve been sewing zippered pouches :)
Re: doll patterns…
I purchased mine at Dressew in Vancouver, B.C. They have a good selection of Burda, as that is all they carry.
I have used Simplicity 1955 and I believe it may have been from Joann’s in Washington state. It has a really cute skirt that is something you can try. Good luck!

Thank you thank you! The neckline is my own design element. Is that called a “variation” on this site? I am getting to know the site…..kind of challenging :)
