thank you for the how to on Anita with a slight flare for those of us under the 5’ mark great fitting bootcut (or any jeans for that matter) are indeed hard to come by…I am down to my last pair so if I can find a place to squeeze this into the to do I most certainly will.

They look like store bought jeans… no, better than that. They fit so well.

Wow look as good as the Jalie’s…if better. Now I have another pair to make. I really love the waistband especially. I would however add an inch or two to get it right over my problem area so it can be camoflauged.

Your jeans fit perfectly! They look so professionell – you would never think you made them on your own! Very cool!

Wow – these are awesome. I wish I would make jeans. I have serious issues getting jeans to fit me…. jean shopping is about the worst thing in the world!!

Rigid denim is your best friend – retains its shape and keeps bits in place firmly.

Ooooh… I’ll add that to the list of “to gets”… I mainly have the problem in that my bum is a lot bigger than my waist, i.e I have a smallish waist but largish bum and short stocky legs… they’re pretty muscley so I end up having to buy relaxed fit or boyish ones to fit my bum and legs but then i end up with excess waist flappage.. am I making any sense?

Lynnew has a how-to for waist fitting, it may help.

i have exactly the same problem! :) big bum comparing to my waist (we are blessed, really!) and big thighs! i hate how store bought jeans gaps in the back on my waist whenever i sit down!

I know exactly what you mean… going jean shopping makes me incredibly angry… not everyone has match-sticks for legs. I’m glad I’m not the only one out there :-) And yes… apparently big bum and small waist should be a good thing… but surely if it was we would be able to get clothes to fit both areas??
