Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I wanted to sew my wedding dress. Such an important day so the dress needed to be special as well.
I already had drawn the pattern pieces to another model but after seeing this pattern (a dress here on BurdaStyle by nouvellegamine) I couldn’t get this out of my mind! With the help of my mother I sewed the dress and I am really pleased how it turned out.
Belt is hand crocheted by my godmother about 20 years ago.
Pattern is 116 from Burda 3/2008.

I love this dress. Not only it is beautiful, it is also very unique. I love that it is not open on top. Has a Royal feel. And it is made so well. I also like red shoes.

Thanks! The original pattern was titled “Dress à la Duchess of Windsor”… it does have a Royal feel!
