Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I wanted to sew my wedding dress. Such an important day so the dress needed to be special as well.
I already had drawn the pattern pieces to another model but after seeing this pattern (a dress here on BurdaStyle by nouvellegamine) I couldn’t get this out of my mind! With the help of my mother I sewed the dress and I am really pleased how it turned out.
Belt is hand crocheted by my godmother about 20 years ago.
Pattern is 116 from Burda 3/2008.

My jaw actually dropped when I opened the link from Burdastyle’s FB page. So absolutely lovely! Very 1920s looking to me (especially with the fascinator!), and I’m a huge fan of the styles from that era. I’ll be adding this to my Pinterest for SURE. WOW!

Oh wow, so beautiful.. I like details, the sleeves the front.. Its all really nice.. And then wearing your godmother’s crochet belt, finishes it off really nicely. The fabric gives it the elegant look.
