Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This was my first time working with lace so I was a bit scared at first to even cut into it.I drafted my own patern for the bodice of the dress with shoulder princess seams.I also lined it with a black cotton fabric.The lace skirt is constructed out of gathered rectangles.I did a 1/2 circle skirt out of the camel coloured fabric which is also beneath the lace of the bodice and stitched it to the gathered lace skirt.I’m quite happy with the turn out.I’ve been showing everyone I know my new creation ha ha !
