Imagine making a winter skirt when it’s 35 C outside! This is my Twinkle by Wenlan A Plus A Line skirt, a challenge in quite a few ways! Sizing was a bit difficult as I hadn’t taken the ease into account when cutting the fabric, all fixed now though. First time ever putting in a zipper (success) and doing a machined blind hem (ditto)! I also preferred the side pleat variation and went with that.
40 year old heavy upholstery cotton from my Mother! Lined in cotton voile.

Lovely skirt Jenn and the colour is beautiful. I also really like your beautiful wrap and it looks great with your skirt.

Thanks Marjorie, I have collected so many scarves and wraps over the years, this one I bought in the Netherlands last year for €3! I am a green girl and teal is my favourite shade, my phot is a bit odd as my very tall daughter took it from her height, not mine :)
