I made this 50’s petticoat, primarily to wear under the 50’s dress I made here >>> http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/7339?image_id=53718. I used grey net and blue cotton, in 10 metres, 6 metres, and 2 metres from bottom to top. It doesn’t look that big, but when you put it on under the skirt it looks huuuuugge – which is exactly what I wanted! I can’t find the instructions I used, but I definitely remember using Pettipond and some sewing forums. I’ll post the link if I can.
