This is my first true blazer! Ok, I made also a boucle jacket, but this one was technically much more complicated. I am surprised that working on it went smooth, without any troubles (ok, I sewed the lining sleeves right on left, but it was very late and I was very tired :-).
When I saw this fabric in the fabric store, I fell in love with those hearts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the saleslady told me this was a Versace design! I don´t know if it is true, but it feels kind of glamorous thinking that it could be…
I chose again a Vogue pattern V8838 and I eliminated the seam near the collar, because I didn´t want to cut those beautiful hearts too much. The right corner seam in the back was rather tricky, I have no idea how I managed it without troubles (beginners luck!).
When I showed my blazer for the first time to my most severe critic – my husband – he only said: “wooooow!” – no critique! At that point I knew I was on the right way :-)
Now I´m very happy with my new blazer! It just lacks a button, I still have to find a suitable one…
