Mustard Agatha

I hope no-one minds the knitting project spam. I’m doing more knitting than sewing at the moment.

This is the Agatha cardigan from Untangling Knots using Cascade 220, sunflower and my second hand knit sweater. I re-enforced both button bands on my sweater using interfacing and lining fabric from my stash. On the buttonhole side I machine stitched buttonholes to match the buttonholes on the cardigan. I love how I can combine my sewing skills with my knitting. I have seen others re-enforce knitted button bands with Petersham ribbon before but not with lined interfacing.

Material Notes

Cascade 220 yarn.

Thank you! You could totally learn if you’re interested. Everything you need is online or You Tube. I had only knit 1 garter stitch scarf before the start of this year!

I couldn’t find any suitable ribbon which turned out to be a good thing. I’m a sewer for heaven’s sake, why not use fabric!?
