This is a picture of my client “L” wearing a mock up of her soon to be dress. I’ve never made any thing for her size before, so I thought it’d be best to test my pattern-making skills to be sure the top half of the dress would fit properly. Well, the first time was a success! I have to do a few little tweaks and embellishments for the finish, but I am very satisfied with the results. And so was she!!
I drafted a pattern for the bodice and sleeves and just added a standard banded bottom. The dress will have an A-line hem and ruching at the waist.
I LOVE WHAT I DO, because it makes people happy!!
