I went to the Coachella Music Festival a few years ago. Since I am from Winnipeg, Canada where it is still below freezing in April, I knew the transition to hot hot hot (by my standards) in California would require some easy sundresses. This is vintage fabric from a great Winnipeg fabric store: Mitchell’s (they have a basement full of bolts of vintage fabric). I love the navy/red combination, and the little roses are actually fuzzy! I used the fantastic Anda pattern for this one but didn’t do the elastic at the waist – a belt works well enough.
Flirty dresses, a cropped cami, and glam trousers for modern flappers.
