Description
I called this the Museum Coat because I think it is the perfect coat to wear for a day at the museum. The pattern is Vogue 8465 out of an orange boucle with purple red and white plaid. I lined it with bridal satin which I think is a little to stiff. I would like the skirt to drape and swing more. The lining color is actually purple, not blue. The fringe trim around the collar is actually the selvage edge that I cut off and inserted like piping.
Material Notes
Orange plaid from Hancocks, purple lining from Joann, Vogue 8465 pattern.
