Description

I bought this fabric a few years back because I loved the print, but the colour never suited me. But luckily it works great for my mum. Because the print is so great I wanted to do a simple shift dress, so that there’d be minimal lines breaking it up. I used a vintage pattern, Simplicity 7380, but changed the neckline and made fake cap sleeves. The fabric frays a fair bit, so all seams are covered in bias binding.
It was an easy make, and it was nice to put the fabric to good use and be able to make something for my mum.
