A very simple dress I made for my mum, same pattern as the Lisa dress I just posted. I pleated the front bodice and sewed down the pleats. I always find it easier to pleat a section on fabric first before cutting out the pattern, so long as there are no darts in the way it means you don’t have to do much measuring and fitting.
Made from soft cotton jersey, which drapes nicely. It’s a loose fitting dress again and can be pulled tighter with waist ties. Handmade bias binding and all seams are french seams so it is very neat on the inside. I like the contrasting buttons on the back.
