this is brilliant, am on a bit of convertible-clothing kick these days…am determined to figure this out. If you just used 2 trapezoids (like 2 A-Line skirts), one smaller than the other, with straps (or is it just one?) where they join, i don’t see how you could have worn it like a cowl halter or on one shoulder…I think I am missing something….any advice?

there are two layers to this design, one being shorter than the other (I used the purple layer as the top shorter piece and black as the bottom long piece). I basically just measured by bust and hips to make the pattern and added about 3 inches. The pattern was in the shape of a trapezoid. I made the tie/band in a really long rectangle and sandwiched the skirt/dress fabrics between the band and sewed it shut.

very cool, what pattern did you use or did you make it yourself, I would love to know more about it, it’s like a great twist in the infinity dress.
