After a long hiatus from sewing (very busy with work, school, my band, and knitting!) I finally found a few hours to make this raglan sleeve dress. It’s made from a very interesting, super stretchy knit I found on sale (rayon maybe?) that almost has the feel of a bathing suit fabric. I used Simplicity 3835 which is meant for a woven material. Since I used a stretchy knit, my head fit through neckhole without me having to put a zipper in the back. Sweet!

I really like this dress. Not just the pattern but the fabric as well. Even though it looks a little bit like a TV test pattern (is that the right word?)..
