I used a commercial pattern for a full length, strapless dress (why re-invent the wheel, right? ;D) as my base for a dress that I created for my friend, MrsEvils.
The major changes made were…
♦ the hem of the dress was redrafted to be asymmetrical, short in front & long in back.
♦ the addition of remove-able, adjustable straps.
♦ added underbust accent with velvet ribbon.
♦ all seams and edges finished with a serger whether they can be seen or not because I’m particular that way ;)
My blog posts on it can be found here with additional pictures and details: http://staticwhite.blogspot.com/search/label/M4450
Always happy to read comments or answer questions on it!

Thanks! My friend sent it to me from CA but I do know it’s called “Contigo” by Alexander Henry.
