Burda Style For people who sew

Completed: October 31, 2008
I started this costume during the summer, and it took at least 60 hours to finish. I’m so proud of this outfit ♥
The hat was so fun to make — I got fake flowers and fruit from Hobby Lobby (on sale, 50% off!) and ribbon… and just went to town.
This costume helped win my Sweeney and me first place at my uni’s costume contest (couple’s category)! We tied with another couple, but I was so glad my efforts paid off.
