This is the first project I made for my baby.
Mr Mouse used to be a cashmere sweater eaten by moths. I felted it by machine washing and drying in a dryer several times. Cashmere felt is a dream to work with. It’s unbelievably soft, does not fray and don’t make machine needle dull after just a few stitches like polyester felt does.
This softie is based on a free pattern by Ottobre design. The pattern can be downloaded from Ottobre website, instructions are in several languages.
The fabric basket on the last picture was made out of leftovers from my Sea of Squares quilt.
