I loved the short version of this cape (not included in the projects here but available in the August magazine) and Harpers reliably informed me that a cape is a must have for this season.
Made with bonded wool and fully lined in navy satin.

Gorgeous! I’m so jealous. I’ve been wanting to make a cape for the last couple of years :)

A verry nice Cape, indeed! Classic and chic for everyday wearing, I have Minimum 5 Pattern in my mind to choose for my Cape, and it is allways helpful to see others allready done. Happy wearing!

Thanks Mary – you must make one – I’m really loving wearing mine :) I work in a college and the students keep giving me a second look – I’m taking it as admiration, ha ha! There’s a few nice patterned linings on eBay right now – I’ve been looking as I’m awaiting delivery of fabric for a winter coat. Have a peak. x

Ha ha! I’m exactly the same. I had a mad moment and bought fabric in Fenwick last Friday – which stopped me short and I made a little promise that I’d buy nothing else until the pile went down. I NEVER buy fabric in a department store – what was I thinking?! x
