Description

I wanted to re-decorate my studio but thought I’d start with the easy job of making some curtains.

I was going to go for a solid colour but then saw this fabric in IKEA and couldn’t resist. Its got log cabins, mountaineers, goats, catkins……
The curtains are just two big hemmed rectangles with tabs along the top. It’s definitely got me in the mood to go to all the hassle of shifting everything out of the room to paint. I just need to decide on a wall colour. I’m thinking red ordark blue on the wall with the window and a nice cream colour on the other walls.

Material Notes

IKEA cotton

I was talking before we went to IKEA about decorating my studio and having a nice sophisticated look….. Obviously that didn’t happen!!
The child in me won over the sophisticated lady!!

Great curtains! I actually bought that fabric as well to make a quilt cover – the goats are probably my favourite part of the print :)
