This is a skirt I made as a mother’s day gift for my mom out of a tablecloth from my recent wedding. I used the Sew U skirt pattern, but changed it to have a drawstring waist (modified the pattern shape a bit), and added a ruffle at the bottom. The trim is a pretty blue/white/metallic knitted ribbon that my mom found at a yard sale and that matches the skirt perfectly.
Linen blend from one of my wedding reception tablecloths. (I used my Easter egg hunt prize money to purchase the fabric for all my tablecloths).

Simple is best – and your mom is lucky to have you! Plus I love the hanger – never seen a starburst hanger before.
