Burda Style For people who sew

I haven’t made that many dresses for friends, let alone a whole outfit, not in any hurry to make any in the near future..
I was a tad bit nervous about making a mother of the bride outfit (phew! so glad it’s finished)! The outfit looks really elegant (my friend is really pleased) thank god! Theme of the wedding is pink/black & white.
The lace really was an 11th hour addition (damn good judgement from my end) I had already sewn the jacket and lining together but really thought it needed something else, the lace has made this outfit. My friend went on a hunt for lace and couldn’t have picked any better.
Now back to my dresses.

It is sewn beautifully and have a lovely vintage feel to it. The coat is a lovely cut and very flattering for a mature lady. I personally like slightly lower necklines but thats just me.. Great job..xx
