My mom’s mother of the bride dress was one of the many projects I did for my sister’s wedding about a month ago! (You can read more about the wedding projects on my blog www.marusyamarusya.com)
To keep things simple under such a short period of time, I decided to use a pattern for her dress! We wanted to do something simple, but made with beautiful fabric. In late july, we found the beige silk/wool (which I LOOOOVE)! Then just a few weeks prior to the wedding, we found our pattern: Burdastyle Dress 03/2013 #10 (Read more about the beginning process on this blog posthttp://www.marusyamarusya.com/wedding-attire-update/)
See more photos and read about the process on my blog: http://www.marusyamarusya.com/mother-of-the-bride-dress-diy-ukrainian-wedding-part-3/
