Finally, I got the chance to take some pictures of my latest projects. :)
Have been too busy for the last few months. But luckily I could find some time to start and continue a new project now and then. So here is my try on a mossy bow shorts. I really like the color of this fabric and luckily still had some remainings from my Mossy Rooibos Dress.
The fabric is some satin-cotton blending and very comfortable to wear. The pattern is based on the bow shorts in BurdaStyle Magazine 6/2010. Unfortunately it is already autumn, but I guess this shorts might look good with some tights, too. ;)

Hi :) was just looking at this pattern and your shorts made me really want to give it a go. was just wondering though, did you alter the pattern at all or do any changes? cause yours seem to be exceptionaly nice and just hoped to ‘borrow’ any change :) x

Thank you for this compliment. :D…But actually, I did not alter the pattern in any way. I guess it just looks a little different, because the official photo of this shorts doesn’t show it off well. So just go for this pattern! :) I am curious to see your finished shorts. So if you don’t mind, let me know as soon as you have finished and uploaded them. :)

Hi again. :) I was just wondering… I’m having some difficulties with the pattern. Is there a need of a lining material, or isn’t it in the pattern? And are there pockets? Thanks.

Hey!
No problem, unfortunately I do not have the pattern on hand, at the moment. But I can tell you that no lining material was needed. You only need some fusible interfacing for the outer waistband and the bow.
And yes there are pockets. Have a look at the third picture, there you can see that the pockets are inclined on the front.
Do not hesitate to ask more questions! Hope I could already help you a little bit! :)

Perfect. The bow adds just the right amount of girlishness to the colour.

They look fantastic! I bought that Burda magazine just for that shorts pattern, so it’s really great to see someone’s own version :)
