A jacket from Burda Style issue 11/2010, #133.
It was planned as a quick project w/o lining and I picked up some double-sided fabric. Soon I realized that the inner side looks quite messy and there’s a need for lining. Then I decided to add some time-consuming decorative hand-stitching. In the end for some fun I embroidered a leaf motif on the back of lining. It’s my small secret that nobody sees.
For closure a couple of hooks are used as I wanted a minimalistic look. Unfortunately I can’t wear a belt with this garment as the double-sided fabric is quite stiff.
Wool blend, lining – rayon, a couple of hooks for closure.
