This blouse started with the fabric. I fell in love with it and went on a mission to find the perfect pattern. Well I eventually found it, and it was New Look pattern #6622 (I believe it has since been discontinued). This thing was a pain in the butt to make and I kept telling myself that after I hand sewed each vintage pearl button on, I would like it better. Unfortunately for me an the blouse this wasn’t true. It came out wonky in some areas, the facings wouldn’t cooperate, basically it was a nightmare. But, people keep telling me it doesn’t look that bad. Maybe their right. Either way, it was a good experience and it is definitely something I would try making again.
