I made this apron for my grandmother for her birthday last spring. My mother took the pictures of my grandmother and her laptop has been broken for a while, so I could only get the pictues now.
My grandmother has had a bad fall a couple of summers ago and ever since she’s had trouble using her left hand. She finds it difficult to tie knots but loves using half aprons in the kitchen. Only aprons usually require tying knots to put them on. This is why I came up with this idea for a knot-free apron. I used a long strip of velcro at the front of the apron. This way it is easier to put the apron on. No reaching to the back and no knots.
