As another “testing out the new serger” project, I made some yoga/lounging pants. I used the grainline studio Maritime Shorts pattern as a base for the top of the pants, and drafted legs and extended the waist. The pants are somewhat fitted (they taper to the ankles), but not much. They have been very comfortable for yoga and for general laziness. I put an elastic casing for the waistband and the ankles, which I stitched using a stretch stitch and my walking foot on my regular sewing machine.
