Since I’ve bought my serger, sewing jersey has become easy. I’ve also been making bags and patterns for other people, limiting my own sewing time. So when sudden hot weather makes me want a new dress, I tend to go for something quick, in jersey. The first dress was a new pattern for me (drafted it myself). I like the look, but the rib knit I used for the midriff band is a lot stretchier than I thought. The striped blue dress is from the same pattern as my first serged jersey dress, minus the back pleat.
