Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I made this coat using pattern no. 101/11/10. The pattern called for a differenct material for the bottom part and originally I wanted to use a plain black or off white, but as I couldn’t find anything that I liked, I thought I did like the red zip on my dress, so why not go with red again?? And here it is : my black/white/red coat !

I love your new coat! <3 It looks warm and comfy! I wish I had one like yours :) Is that snow? By the sea?????? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The temprature here is about 17-19 degrees! ( that’s why I don’t have a coat like yours ;) I don’t need it :( )

thank you for the lovely compliment !! Yes that is SNOW BY THE SEA ! Doesn’t happen very often here, so you can imagine the chaos it caused :-)
That day we went to see the seal babies (the grey seals come every year to this beach to have their babies) and I felt so sorry for them. But I guess their fur is warmer than my coat !

Its freezing here as well. I knew as soon as I saw england scotland and wales had the snow we.d be next. My green dress plus the other two i.ve made recently will have to wait for an outing as I.m staying in and keeping warm in my fleece jammies plus housecoat and furry boots lol.x
