I made this Moonrise Kingdom-inspired outfit specifically for a Wes Anderson-movie-themed party to mark the release of his latest film. It was really fun to use a film costume for inspiration. I used two Simplicity patterns: 1913 for the dress and 1727A for the separate pointed collar and cuffs (it’s technically only a collar pattern but was easily modified to make the cuffs). More photos of the outfit and information on its construction are up on my blog, Lady Stitcher
