Jakob shirt
My boyfriend is quite skinny so I had to grade the pattern down 2 sizes. So glad it worked! Was my first attempt at this pattern and the first time I have had to grade a pattern down almost completely.
And I must say – I was a little scared of sewing my first shirt but it wasn’t as hard as I imagined it would be! It all went pretty smoothly.

it looks amazing! It’s a great pattern, and I have tried it to make a long robe for my dad, kimono style and it worked beautifully. All I had to do was extend the length, shorten the sleeves and make them straight and wide (like in a kimono) and change the neckline. You did a great job! and keep on experimenting with this pattern (and your boyfriend)

Congrats!.. To your boyfriend ;)
Really cool shirt! I am afraid to sew for mine too… Once I sewed pants for him and they were big and he didn’t wear those ,(
The shirt looks amazing on him, I would never say it’s a hand-made one. Looks like H&M or Kenvelo thing…
How much did you grade the pattern? (4 cm from each edge?) Because my husband seams to have the same size, and you inspired me to make a surprise for him to our Anniversary!
