Monroe dress

Added Aug 7, 2008

by barkcloth

Amsterdam, Nethe...

This cloth I also bought on the market on Maibachufer in Berlin, it cost me €3 in total (!). The dress is from Burda Magazin of May 2008. I didn’t fixe the shawl to the dress, but kept it loose.

Material Notes

cotton satin.

Great to see! I wanted to make this dress, with the same alteration. Awesome fit, well done!

Very nice! I saw the pattern in burda, thought it was a big dress (lots of fabric) but when I see yours it looks fabulous. Great choice of fabric.

Beautiful dress! And I’m so jealous of the oppurtunity to get such a lovely fabric so cheap!
