I recently bought a LOT of 1 inch black and white Gingham and ended up making a mini collection of gingham based clothes!
I started with a high waisted Dirndl skirt, with a handpicked zip – which I’m really pleased with.
I then made a Gingham Archer – one of my favourite patterns! I am pretty pleased with my pattern placement on this one as I got a lovely line down the back :)
Then made a jersey gathered skirt from my own pattern, which is a firm favourite. No gingham here, but it goes well with the shirt :)
And finally I made a little cropped Victoria Blazer by By Hand London – such a lovely pattern! Lined with the lovely Gingham. Hopefully it’ll be great for spring parties.
You’ll be happy to hear that I’ve now run out of Gingham! But I did enjoy making my little collection. More info on my blog: Sleek Silhouette
