what a nightmare this was, looks so easy and should be but for a few facts,, la mia boutique pattern sizes are a mystery so i made it 2 sizes bigger than the last pattern i made for a shirt which just fits, and hey ho, doesnt even remotely fit, so i was on the verge of binning it then i thought id spent about 3 hours on it so fail is not an option i cut 2 strips of fabric sewed at sides, the fabric is good doesnt show up mistakes, but does fray boy does it fray so everything is over locked within an inch of its life, rolled edge on frill and sleeves, didnt bother with the shirred section at back as it took me 4 sessions to do,, thats like 6 hours of my life ill never get back, the angled facings,, dont even start me on them and the button holes,, well 4 went easy then wouldnt do it, i unpicked 5 buttonhole abborations on same spot on the thinnest fraytastic fabric ever,, eventually put 2 strips of poplin back and front of facing to strengthen it,,what an effort is it worth it,, hell no its just a little summer blouse,,,,,,,,,,,,,,good grief im off to do something quite before my mojo leaves me for good,, oh and i made the skirt from burda pattern easy and nice
thin cotton ,, 50c at op shop,, i wonder why,, pink cotton linen for skirt from op shop,, i have 15 meters of it,,
