Description

I have just finished this dress, which I have been making for my HSC Major Textiles Project. I have used bits and pieces of a commercial pattern and then modified them to make them fit perfectly. It has taken me about 8 months to make it so it is now my pride and joy. I was inspired by many old fashioned wedding dresses with the high neckline of lace, and I wanted to make this also a modern day wedding dress, so I used a low backline and a short length to counter this.

Material Notes

I used, a cream coloured Chiffon, a white polyester fabric for the lining and a cream coloured lace for the top section
