I love geometric patterns in garments, so when I saw this purple and teal (my favorite colors) striped fabric, I had to make something great with it. I have been checking out ModCloth for quite some time now and really like the color combinations they chose for their looks. I thought this color scheme would compliment a lot of different pieces. The one I would particularly pair it with is the Dancing in the Pleats Dress. This would make for a cute yet sophisticated look for any holiday party.

The fabric is all linen-like cotton. The back of the purse is the same as the front, without the geometric detail, just horizontal stripes. The top closure is a gold colored magnetic snap, making it easy to reach in and grab something quickly. The pin I found at a local vintage shop.

I love the pattern you made with the stripes. The yellow borders really make it stand out as well!
