I made these tote bags for my boyfriends sisters for Christmas. They are both made from cotton canvas, fully lined with a polyester fabric with upholstery vinyl bottoms and straps. One is made from a brown and beige striped fabric, with brown vinyl and the other is an off-white with black vinyl. I also used contrasting thread to make it pop a bit more.
I came across this pattern through burda member Catchannette. I absolutely love this pattern -its so easy to make and its quite unique. I adore the fact that the tote automatically closes itself when you pick up the strap; quite handy in my opinion. I really hope they like these, and if not, then I’ll just keep them for myself :P
