These mittens are a combination of knitting and quilting. They were made for my niece. The pattern is an original design which I will soon have ready for sale on my website as Pretty-as-a-Picture Mittens Pattern.
I think these mittens would go great with ModCloth’s Style at Will Jacket http://www.modcloth.com/store/ModCloth/Womens/Outerwear/Style+at+Will+Jacket
Wool batting for the quilted parts would make these extremely warm. Polyester batting or cotton batting will also work. The knitting can be done with either acrylic or wool yarn in worsted weight.
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
