Burda Style For people who sew

I’ve just signed up to Sew Weekly!
…Crazy, I know.
My first official project was this Violet by Collette. It’s beautiful (like all of the Colette patterns) but I’m a little concerned about how boxy it feels. Maybe I’m just too used to fitted things and need to embrace the casual, comfortable feel!
I also did self-covered buttons (my first ever!) and love the outcome.

Your blouse is so lovely and looks perfect on- not at all boxy. As for the boob fold, no one but you would probably notice. Great work, and looking forward to seeing your other Sew Weekly creations.

Tucked into your skirt – the blouse doesn’t look too boxy. In fact, it gives you a great shape and looks lovely.
