This pattern is the Lydia t-shirt, widened and extended at the waist down 60cm or so, making sure the width at my hip was enough to cover it with a bit of ease. This is my first time sewing stripes, so I was pretty happy with how they turned out. It’s not perfect, but you stare at small stripes long enough and they turn into an optical illusion!
The armholes were changed a bit from the last time I sewed Lydia to sit better on the shoulder, but they are incredibly tight, despite being taken down significantly from the pattern. They could come down at least an inch, but I’m not sure of how to match the sleeve to this alteration – any thoughts?
112cm x 180cm of navy/white striped stable knit from Salvos, Vilene bias tape to stabilise neckline and shoulders.
